Repair Service Terms
$65 diagnostics. Approval before additional work. A 90-day limited warranty on completed repairs.
Start with identification and photographs
Provide the equipment manufacturer/model, board number, symptoms, prior repair attempts, and clear photographs of both sides. Tell us about burning, corrosion, missing parts, physical damage, and modifications. Wait for intake approval and shipping instructions before sending a board. Initial photo review does not incur the diagnostic fee.
Severe thermal damage, destroyed traces or layers, unavailable components, damaged programmed devices, or insufficient test access can prevent repair. Inclusion in our catalog does not guarantee repairability of every specimen. We will explain the findings rather than assume that a customer could diagnose the problem before shipping.
Diagnostic fee and custom repairs
Authorized bench diagnostics cost $65 per board, payable before diagnostics begin. The customer pays initial inbound shipping. The fee covers inspection and troubleshooting; a working repair is not guaranteed by diagnostic payment. We report our findings and any limits to the diagnosis.
For a custom repair, the $65 is credited toward the approved repair price. We provide a repair quote after diagnostics and obtain approval and the agreed balance before repair work. If the quote is declined, no repairable fault is identified, or the board is unrepairable, the diagnostic fee remains due for work performed and the customer pays return shipping. Its cost or agreed limit is disclosed during intake. No diagnostic fee is charged for a board rejected from photos alone without paid bench work.
You may request an estimate before work begins. We provide written pricing and obtain approval before extra paid work or a price increase; an inquiry is not repair authorization. You receive the applicable service terms and an itemized record of the work and charges. Any subcontracted work or replaced-part arrangements requiring disclosure will be explained before authorization.
Listed, fixed-price repair services
A listed price purchases the specified repair service for your own matching board. After confirming the board and scope, we collect the stated price upfront. It includes the $65 diagnostic component and standard return shipping following a successful repair, within the destination/service terms stated in the offer. Initial inbound shipping is paid by the customer.
If diagnostics show the board cannot be repaired within the agreed scope, we contact you before additional work. If no repair proceeds, we refund the prepaid service amount less the $65 diagnostic fee and disclosed actual return shipping, with applicable tax adjustments. We do not add a second diagnostic charge. Additional costs require prior agreement; see refund details.
Work, testing, and turnaround
Turnaround is stated per service listing or custom quote. We notify you of material delays or findings requiring a new scope. Repairs target the agreed faults. We document the work performed, parts used, and available testing. Used or rebuilt replacement parts, if proposed, are disclosed in the work documentation and any required pre-work approval.
Some boards require the original machine, proprietary firmware, a programmed component, or a specialized fixture for complete testing. We disclose material testing limitations. A bench check does not certify the whole machine. The customer should use appropriately qualified personnel for removal, reinstallation, and system-level verification, including checking for external faults that could damage the board again.
Back up accessible configuration or stored data before shipment and tell us about programming requirements. We do not promise preservation or recovery of data. Firmware changes, safety-function changes, or programming beyond the stated repair scope require agreement.
Returning the board and unpaid balances
We arrange tracked return shipping after the agreed service and payment steps. For declined or unrepairable work, return shipping is charged as disclosed at intake. A confirmed covered warranty claim receives standard shipping both ways at Nexaer's expense.
If a balance is disputed or unpaid, we contact you with an itemized statement and return options. We exercise any right to retain property only where permitted by applicable law. These terms do not automatically transfer ownership of a board to Nexaer, authorize its sale or disposal, or impose undisclosed storage charges. Disposal requires the owner's specific written authorization or a separate lawful process.
Completed repair coverage
Completed repairs carry a 90-day limited warranty from delivery back to the customer for workmanship and the same repaired fault. Contact us before a warranty shipment. For a confirmed covered failure, we pay standard shipping both ways, attempt a corrective repair, and refund the original repair-service charge without a diagnostic deduction if we cannot correct the covered fault.
Unrelated faults or new damage are assessed separately and require approval before chargeable diagnostics or repair. Sending a warranty inquiry does not authorize a new $65 fee.
